  • Dark chocolate  –  200 gms.
  • Whipping cream – 150 gms. 
  • Milk – 1.5 cups 
  • Sugar – 2 tbsp. 
  • Condensed milk  –  2 tbsp. 
  • Cocoa powder  –  2 tbsp. 
  • Custard  powder  – 2 tbsp. 
  • Butter –  30 gms.

Method:

  • Take milk in a sauce pan and bring to boil. 
  • Meanwhile, take custard powder in a bowl and add couple of tbsps. of water and dissolve the powder completely in it. 
  • Add sugar and custard soln.to the boiled milk and whisk thoroughly to dissolve the custard. 
  • Now add cocoa powder and stir to remove the lumps. 
  • Finally add butter and remove the milk from gas top. 
  • To this further add the dark chocolate and whisk to completely dissolve the chocolate without any lumps. Keep this aside for cooling. 
  • In another bowl take whipping cream, add vanilla essence and whip up to stiff peaks. 
  • Once the chocolate base is cooled,  add the whipped cream along with Condensed milk and fold to bring into a uniform colour. 
  • Refrigerate for a min. of 30mins. before serving. 
  • Fit a Piping bag with a large star nozzle and fill the mousse. Pipe into serving bowls and serve immediately.
