I’m in my hometown, n was welcomed by the beautiful sight of mangrove lined houses with ripe mangoes towering over. Although the Mango season is almost done with, and the rains have slowly started seeping in, was lucky enough to reach before the season bids adieu.
With loa…..ds of fresh juicy mangoes handy (something that I really miss in Mumbai), how could I miss out on making a quick summer dessert. So here is an Icecream that is gonna just take 10 mins. to whip up.
This is an Instant Mango Icecream , that could be made in a jiffy, on a hot summer day. Also do try out the Mango Ice-cream recipe that is posted earlier.
Instant Mango Icecream recipe
Prep. time – 10 mins.
Ingredients:
(Have taken 1cup=250 ml)
- Mangoes chopped – 1 cup
- Milk – 1 cup
- Fresh Cream – 1 cup
- Condensed milk – 200 gms.
- Vanilla/Rose essence – 1 tsp.
Method:
- Put all the ingredients into a mixer jar.
- Blitz to a fine purée.
- Pour into an Icecream tub and freeze till it sets.
Recipe steps:

Roughly chop the mangoes.
Add the mangoes along with the other ingredients into a mixer jar.
Blitz to a fine purée.
Pour into an Icecream tub and freeze till it sets.
